When you paste text from a word processing package such as Word it'll often include a lot of the formating code the package uses. It's a good idea to avoid including this in your blog post, here's a simply way of doing so:

• Copy the text from your word processing package to the clipboard (control+c or command+c).
• In the blog text editor, place the cursor where you would like the text to appear by clicking upon that point.
• Click upon the button labeled "Paste as Plain Text".
• In the window that opens click within the text entry area in the centre of this window and past your text into it (control+v or command+v).
• Click upon the button labeled "Insert" to paste your text into the editor.
• The text with any formatting removed will then be pasted into the test editor.
