EIL Boards in Germany and Ireland have a joint meeting

The Boards of EIL Ireland and EIL Germany held a joint meeting in Bonn on March 14th and 15th 2009. We covered all types of topics, including programme quality, safety, strategic planning and how to make sure that we succeed in the future. Last but not least, we also discussed several ways of how we can support each other and grow the EIL organisation around the world. At present Federation EIL has offices in 26 different countries around the world. Everyone left the meeting with a head full of new ideas and a stomach full of German food (and Irish caramel sweets). The weekend was incredibly motivating for everyone involved and we are determined to make these joint board meetings a tradition from now on.
