Twice a year (in April and November) EIL Network members and staff meet for practical and informative workshops, debates and activities on global issues and lots of fun at the network weekends. The next Network weekend will take place in Dublin on the 21st and 22nd of April.

The National Youth Council of Ireland (NYCI) is hosting regional seminars for youth leaders and minority ethnic communities in three regions - Monaghan (22 March), Galway (28 March), and Kilkenny (1 April).

Youth work Training - Tackling Racism, Homophobia and Sexism

NYCI is running a training on Tackling Racism Homophobia and Sexism in Cork City on the 15th March.

This course will help participants to understand stereotyping, discrimination and prejudice and how they relate to racism, homophobia and sexism. It will help participants identify racism, homophobia and sexism and will present methods for tackling them.

This year we are offering 14 fully funded awards where EIL covers all the programme costs and 8 partially funded awards where most of the programme costs are funded by EIL.
