Spend 15, 22, 26 or 40 weeks attending an Irish high school, while living with a local Irish family.

Individual and personal attention is assured as school sizes in Ireland are small and foreign students often bring prestige to a school. Placements are in local communities, mostly in Meath, Cork, Galway, Mayo and Kerry and Louth. EIL has hosted high school participants from USA, Mexico, Sweden, Canada, Argentina, France, Latvia, Germany, Brazil and Italy. The combination of attending an Irish secondary school and living with a local family offers a great cultural and educational opportunity for young people aged 15-17. Participants attend school, extra-curricular and sporting activities alongside Irish teenagers, and experience the warm hospitality of an Irish family.
