Educacentre

Located in the historic city of St. Petersburg, Educacentre has been offering Russian language courses since 1988. The school attracts students from all over the world who wish to immerse themselves in Russian language and culture as well as providing English classes for Russians. Every teacher of Russian at the Educacentre is a graduate of St. Petersburg university, qualified to teach Russian as a foreign language and with many years experience both in Russia and abroad.

Location

The Educacentre occupies a classical style building filled with bright modern well-equipped classrooms. The centre also contains a conference hall, satellite television and a student cafeteria. The Educacentre is located in the heart of St. Petersburg. Walking the streets of St. Petersburg you can't help but be aware of it's three-hundred-year history. Founded in 1703 by Peter the Great, soon foreign architects were invited to help in its construction and, hand in hand with Russian workmanship and traditions, they created a unique, atmospheric blend of styles.

Nowhere else will you feel such a sense of majesty and splendour as in St. Petersburg. Once the capital city of the Russian Empire, this is truly one of the world's great open-air museums. One huge palace after another with their high, classical facades bear witness to a magnificent past.

Accommodation

Dinner with a Host Family

On all of our language courses we place emphasis on full immersion into the language and culture of the country in question. Participants will be staying with host families therefore in St. Petersburg. Each family is carefully chosen by Educacentre for their hospitality and genuine desire to share their culture and home with people. Accommodation is on a half board basis.

Prices from 982 euro for 2 weeks including half board accommodation with a local family, airport transfers, tuition and insurance.

• A "Dear Family" letter in English
