Acclaimed photographer, Zana Briski is a documentary photographer. While working in Sonagachi, Kolkata, she befriended a group of children, who were intrigued by her photography equipment. Born into Brothels is a striking look at prostitution, sex trafficking and the life of children born into brothels.

Lylia 4-ever is a Swedish film. The story is loosely based on a true story. It reveals the brutality of human trafficking and sexual slavery. In the former Soviet Union, sixteen year old Lilya is abandoned by her mother and left to fend for herself. The sex trade is exposed as her only way of making money. Lilya rejects this business, but later deceived by a man who offers her an escape from this desperate situation. She finds herself locked into prostitution. Lilya 4-ever is an unremittingly brutal and realistic story of a teenager's downward spiral. The film offers a stark, frank and disturbing vision of the underground sex trade. It uncovers the realism of abject poverty and the abuse of children.
