"Best of Ireland" 2010

"The Best of Ireland" May 2010

Recent particpants on EIL Visit Ireland Road Scholar 'Best of Ireland' programme share their impressions of Ireland and of the programme. Among the activities they took part in were having dinner with Irish families in county Kerry, walking on the Burren with a local expert and discovering Galway and Dublin in the company of a historian and writer.

" I have made several small groups trips with other travel organizations (Backroads, OAT, Eldar Treks) and this trip has surpassed them all. It is affordable, well organized, focused on learning and nicely paced. It’s so nice to have everything taken care of and little emphasis on ‘shopping opportunities’ a great trip, especially enhanced by a very special guide.”

"Great location - Strongly recommend it."

"Wonderful blend of planned activity and free time, especially enjoyed our time on the West Coast"
