Update from Experiment Germany group in Clonmel
After that, we walked to the Kebab house for lunch. The Kebab house
is owned by someone from Baghdad and he spoke to Ali in Arabic. Shay
paid for the lunch to say thank you for the work we had done the last
days. The food was very good, but expensive. Later Joe arrived and
joined us for lunch. Joe is our second boss in the forest.
After lunch we took a walk. Shay allowed us to have a look around his house for a couple of minutes. From Shays house we went on to the girls school, where my hostsister goes to. At first we met the German teacher and later her students arrived and we started asking them questions in English and they had to answer in German. I enjoyed it very much and the girls were very friendly and nice to us. After the school visit we all went back to the city centre for shopping.
After the shoopping tour, we came back home for a lovely dinner prepared by our lovely hostmother.

Today we where at the forest with Shay, Joe and our host father. And we
have to cut down the trees next to an old wall. We cut the trees, so the
old wall can
be repaired, the wall is made of stones it is over 150
years old. From the forest we went to the girls school. And we
introduced ourselves again to the girls. We sat in small groups and
spoke about life in Ireland and in (Germany) Berlin and how it is
different. We also had lunch together with them. After we ate our lunch
and we played card games together. It was great fun and a great moment
with the girls. From the girls school we went back to the forest to
continue our work. While we were working something happend to Ali and he
was rushed quickly to the doctor for a check-up. We continue to work
and hailstones started to fall. Our boss shay decided we should finish
earlier. He brought us into a restaurant in the town. There we ate
chocolate cakes with hot chocolate. Annemarie, Ali and Andy, where
still at the doctor so they could’nt join us. We decided to check on Ali
at the doctor, but unfurtunately he was already gone to the house. We
went to the house to see Ali. He was still sleeping when we came. 5
minutes later, wake up and he was feeling better. All of where very
proud of how Annemarie looked after Ali when he was ill, she did a
great job and i am very proud of her. This was a very inventfull day
and we had a very delicious meal at the end.
