Youth Programs

EIL Intercultural Learning youth programs are designed to provide your participants with the tools to thrive in another culture. The focus is to learn about Ireland, her people and culture in a fun, interactive manner. Through cultural and educational activities, our youth programs foster personal development, build communication and leadership skills, and enhance young peoples abilities to act as global citizens.

A group of American high school students from Chicago explore the Aran islands by bike on a fully-funded scholarship programme to Ireland. The majority of these students had not left Chicago before so it certainly was an experience for them!

Overview

EIL youth programs are designed to be educational as well as fun, with an emphasis on interactive activities and hands-on learning. Whether your group would like a focus on the cultural heritage of Ireland, outdoor activities, or language learning, we can design an itinerary to suit their specific needs.

With expertly trained in-country leaders and a strong focus on child protection, EIL Ireland youth programs provide the peace of mind so necessary when traveling with a group of young people, particularly those under 18.

These young people are all aged between 15 - 17 years and they are based in Clonmel, where they are staying with local families while volunteering on local conservation and youth projects.
