In the Summer of 2010, four Irish people were given an incredible opportunity to witness the effects of HIV and AIDS in Africa first hand. As part of EIL’s Global Awareness Programme, Emily Price and Maeve Galvin worked for a HIV and AIDS NGO in Nigeria while Paul Quinn and Gill Carter worked for a HIV and AIDS NGO in South Africa. As part of their campaign to raise awareness, Visions in Solidarity is a visual representation of the current state of HIV and AIDS in Nigeria, South Africa and Ireland. The launch of this unique photographic exhibition will be opened by James O’Connor of Open Heart House, HIV activist and Development Manager, at:

Irish Aid Information Centre 27-31 Upper O'Connell Street, Dublin
Saturday, March 5th 2011, 4pm.

The launch will be followed by wine reception.
