Whether it is the excitement and energy of Bangkok or the beautiful beaches and islands dotted around the coast, Thailand has long held a draw for travelers to South East Asia. Volunteers can work with ethnic minority groups, refugees or with people with special needs.

Experience the vibrant culture of New Zealand - an exciting mixture of traditions and ethnicities from around the world mixed in with the "local" Maori culture. You will have the opportunity to learn about the Maori while working alongside Kiwi and international counterparts on a range of conservation and social projects, such as restoring bird habitats and reversing the rapidly declining coastal forests or helping young people from a disadvantaged background.

Mexico is a country of huge contrasts comprised of almost two million square miles of coastline, white sandy beaches, desert, rain forest, mountains, fertile plains and one of the world largest cities. Volunteers can make a valuable contribution in communities that are in danger of being left behind as a result of poverty, abuse of the environment and lack of economic opportunities.

With more than two decades of progressive, peaceful and democratic political stability, as well as a robust and growing economy, Ghana has emerged as a leader in Sub-Saharan Africa. Yet, despite Ghana’s relative prosperity, poverty remains pervasive particularly in the north of the country, which now account for half of Ghana’s population living under the poverty line. Volunteers can contribute their time and energy to inspirational community projects, while gaining a real understanding of the country and its culture.

The Himalayan kingdom of Nepal is renowned for its breathtaking scenery, rich cultural heritage and its friendly people. Volunteers experience the traditional way of life, the culture and the beauty of Nepal, while engaging in an exchange of ideas and work practices in these struggling communities.

Vietnam is a country of a rare beauty with spectacular landscapes, 3,400 km of divine beaches, mountain regions with lush vegetation and charming lakes. Volunteers can contribute their time and energy to a wide range of projects in Vietnam, while gaining a real understanding of the country and its culture.

Nigeria is the heart of West Africa and the most populous country on the continent. It is made up of an incredible diversity of cultures, with over 450 ethnic dialects. Volunteers work alongside their local counterparts on a range of vital projects, gaining hands-on experience and an understanding of life in Nigeria.

Argentina has long held a romantic draw for travelers, with its vibrant culture, cosmopolitan cities and stunning scenery. Volunteers work in some of the most interesting and attractive locations in the country in schools and community-based organisations.

This short term volunteer programme offers an authentic, cultural and meaningful experience to people with limited time. Volunteer activities mainly involve physical labour work and hands on activities in order to improve the level of facilities available for local communities inHimachal and Rajasthan. The programme also includes exciting and varied cultural excursions and learning experiences.

Just 12 miles from Spain, the Kingdom of Morocco is a meeting of two worlds. A land of spices, deserts, Casbahs and medinas; its culture draws on a unique mix of Berber, Arab, African, French (widely spoken) and Spanish influences. Volunteers have a unique opportunity to work on rewarding projects throughout the country.
