Group programmes

When you join an EIL Volunteer Abroad Group Programme you can be part of a team of willing volunteers and contribute to the development of a disadvantaged community in Latin America or Africa.

For few weeks you will live and work alongside local people while learning more about their culture. We have selected inspirational local projects which help these communities overcoming the challenges they are facing and which need your support. Volunteers can work in different areas such as education, eco-tourism, renovation or construction.

Join an existing group of volunteers!
Argentina, Mexico or Ecuador

EIL has entered into partnership with three communities in Argentina, Mexico and Ecuador where poverty, unemployment and lack of opportunity have left communities struggling. We are committed to making a difference in these communities and to improving the living standards of the local people.

  • Length: 2 weeks
  • Activities: renovation and building work, teaching and educational activities
  • Start dates: from June to August
  • Group size: from 8 to 15

South Africa, Guatemala, Argentina, Mexico, Ecuador

If you are part of a group of friends, workmates or colleagues interested in helping a project in need, EIL can organise a tailored volunteer programme for you. These programmes are especially suitable for youth groups (Foroige, Scouts…), corporate groups or even social clubs.

  • Length: from 2 to 8 weeks
  • Activities: renovation and building work, teaching and educational activities
  • Start dates: year round
  • Group size: from 8 to 25
