Professor Karlsson's thoughts on the Internship in India programme

Professor Karlsson, from Telemark University College in Porsgrunn, Norway shares his thoughts on the Internship in India programme.

I have just had the pleasure of welcoming back our two students from Goa. Last week we arranged a debriefing session for all students who had been abroad for their practice placements, and I am happy to report that our students who did their practice placements in Goa were very well satisfied with their stay and work there. They were particularly satisfied with the supervision provided, and my impression of the work of Idex in India is very positive. We have received all necessary documents from you without delay.

From my point of view, I appreciate especially the high level of supervision given to our students by Mrs. Marta Mascarenhas. Her reports have been splendid, with lots of information, and also with a warm touch showing clearly the she and the students established a valuable relationship between them. This is important to me because it emphasises the need we as a University have for a professional supervision of our students, as well as giving us an assurance of the safety and well-being of the students.

Please accept my best Season's greetings to you and your colleagues.

Best regards,

Nils-Petter Karlsson
