Hope everyone is well and good
Time for another update

All is good here. another week done. can you believe i am heading into week 6 already. just there till this friday when i will then head about 20 hours north to Himachal to a new camp. Looking forward to that now as it is getting very very very hot here now.

Our projects continue all be it at a slower pace as exams are starting for the kids. the cycling club continues each evening and it is still my favourite project. this week 3 of the girls were cycling on their own and it was fantastic. on Tuesday Chunni who is a 12 year old girl took off on her own on the bike. she was the first and it was such a great sight. I was jumping and whooping and then she turns around to see me and shouts is good Coll and loses her momentum and Bang , Falls but as i run up to her she is smiling and laughing and the other 2 girls are running up hugging her and its brilliant. and its true what they say success breeds success cause after seeing chunni succeed the other 2 girls Lalli and Mosmi had both mastered it by Thursday. If i achieve nothing else while i am out here that will be my proudest moment last week
so on to the art of Washing clothes in a bucket. I think i have finally mastered this art after some weeks. there are a few different techniques and i will start with my favorite:
1) Dont dirty your clothes and there is no need to wash them. Note: always keep a bottle of deodorant near by
2) Fill bucket with water. Add powder. Make loads of suds. get item of clothing and plunge it vigorously into bucket 5 or 6 times. shake well and hang out to dry. its important to do this in the nip as you make a fierce mess of the clothes you are wearing during this process
3) wash and dry clothes in the dark and try not to take too much notice of long lasting stains

I really wish the other volunteers would have washed their clothes out in the open so i could have seen just how the hell i'm meant to do this. but maybe they were all doing it in the nip too
