C`mere and I bate ya!

okay, the other day i did kendo with my adorable host brother haruto-kun (not naruto as my boyfriend likes to tell me :P). now I`ll be honest, I didnt have and expectations, until the teacher(sensei) asked me to try. I did NOT expect to be whacking the man full force on the head and screaming "MEN!" or his arm or his side and then dancing away. I like japanese people.... i dont want to hit them...

Before this trip, i was like , meh i can read kana and hiragana(japanese alphabets) and a few kanji...be grand! I am not grand. i cant read anything.... i feel disabled half the time :( especially when i want food :P  i feel so stupid when i ask a hundred times a day, "whats that?" "what does that say?" "sorry i dont understand?" Also when i approach people with my host mother or grandmother they like to not talk to me. they ask my host mother where im from, while i stand in front of them perfectly able to rant off a self introduction to them :P

Sunday, i took a train to matsumoto, this massive city..(even though villages here are HUGE, with at least 4 car shops, at least...) and went to a high school festival with Megu-chan :) it was so cool, students made this amazing food, ramen and momo(peach) jelly :) NOMNOM and organised events and a mini concert with no teachers present! it was unreal!! itd be awesome if we had those kinda things here in ireland but i suppose my school would be burnt down or something...

right now, im in the countryside of japan and EVERYWHERE there are paddy fields! EVERYWHERE i tell you! middle of a town..BAM! Rice field central! actually last night was my first EARTHQUAKE!!! AHHH! they are freaky stuff, I tell you! i cant put in words what its like to have the ground shake everything... including you :/

JAA NEEEEE!:)
