Dubliner Joyce Mullen is spending 6 weeks in Hanoi, Vietnam volunteering at a project which provides care, support and education for children with disabilities.
She updated us with a little insight into her experience so far.
"The Volunteer House is lovely as far as hostels go very clean and the food is nice. Staff are here all the time so it's very safe. The project is amazing. I'm with 2-3 yr old autistic boys. We work from 8.30 until 11 am then break for 3 hours and back 2 -4 pm."
Projects working with children with disabilities or teaching are available in Hanoi City all year round. If you'd like to experience volunteering in an Asia country, please contact [email protected]/021 4551535
