Eco Unesco Leadership and Strategic Sustainable Development Training
A workshop aimed to provide the Global Awareness Participants with skills to prepare them for their 8 week placement working on environmental sustainability. EIL Global Circle, Development Education Committee and EIL Network Members can also apply to take part in the training on Saturday the 2nd of May 2015! HIV and AIDS Training with the Dublin AIDS Alliance and Dr. Ann Nolan
This workshop is aimed at providing the Global Awareness Participants, whose projects are focuses on HIV and AIDS, with a background to the Irish context and Intenational Development Context of HIV and AIDS. A facilitator from the Dublin AIDS Alliance will provide an exposure visit and background to the Dublin AIDS Alliance and Dr. Ann Nolan will facilitate a formal training and the Irish Context and International Development Context of HIV and AIDS. This workshop takes place on Monday the 25th of May in Dublin. IL Global Circle, Development Education Committee and EIL Network Members can also apply to take part in the training. Media and Campaigns
Facilitated by Vicky Donnelly, an experienced campaigning/activism trainer, this workshop is aimed at giving volunteers and returned participants the basic tools for dealing with media, the dos and don’ts, guidence on how to write a press release and how to get an interview with the media. This workshop will take place in Dublin in the morning of the 25th of May 2015!
Come along to this workshop on the 30th and 31st of May in Cork. This programme is for anyone interested in exploring the connection between creativity, learning and change in the world and in nurturing possibilities to grow as connected global citizens.
EIL is hosting the training, which has been developed and will be run by Jessica Carson and Nora Furlong from Creativity and Change. The programme is about creativity and its power to ignite empathy, passion and learning about our interconnected and interdependent world. It is about imagining more humane, just and viable ways to live in the world.
