For everyone who wants to learn German quickly, an intensive course at our partners’ institute is the perfect solution. Children have 25 lessons of German per week, teenagers and adults have 30 lessons per week.

Our experience has shown that small classes play an important role for successful learning. This is why classes in Lindenburg are small with approximately 10 students each. They are taught by highly motivated native speakers with university degrees.

What Course do we offer?

We offer standard and intensive courses throughout the year. A programme of sports and recreational activities is held as well.

It is understood that students need to grasp all key aspects of a foreign language (speaking, writing, reading, listening and grammar) to a similar degree. Experience shows that only the students who master all of these areas really feel at ease speaking another language. On the first day of classes, a detailed placement test is held that helps the schools to assign students to their corresponding course levels. Small class sizes contribute considerably to students noticing a clear improvement in their language skills by the end of the course

  • For students between 14-17, the Intensive Course provides 30 lessons per week

The centre is located on a park-like campus.

The residence consists almost exclusively of rooms with one or two beds, many of which have a fantastic view of the Alps. Many rooms also have their own shower and bathroom. Healthy, well-balanced meals include three main meals and two snacks daily.

Students staying with host families will have breakfast at home and the rest of their meals at the centre, as this will help to ensure integration between all of the school’s students.

Arrival and Departure

Students are responsible for organising their own flights and must arrive on the Sunday before the course begins and depart on the Saturday after the last day of the classes.

We recommend that students fly into Memmingen or Friedrichshafen Airports. Transfers can be organised at an additional cost.

Transfer Costs: Will be updated at the end of October 2018

Activities and Excursions

Lindenberg’s vast facilities ensure that regardless of the weather, students can always have fun after class. A number of sports and recreational opportunities are available, as well as organised full-day and half-day excursions to places like Lindau, Meersburg, Lake Constance, and Munich. A wide variety of sports is also available, most of which can be played indoors and outdoors. The centre has its own indoor and outdoor swimming pools with views of the Alps, a miniature golf course and mountain bikes for long bike rides. Depending on the time of year, students may also take hip-hop dance lessons, skiing or snowboarding lessons. These activities are not included in the course fees. Please ask for prices and how to book in advance.

The Centre is located on a park-like campus and the students are supervised by trained staff 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.  The students can move around safely and freely.
