My first week here has been amazing, it is remarkable how much you can learn about a place in a time span of a week and yet have ten thousand more to learn, taste and see.
People in Mexico are generally a lot more friendly than the rest of the world see them. I have been greeted by a thousand smiles already. They are eager to show their culture and keen to learn about the rest of the world.
Best thing that happened to me thus far is being mistaken for a celebrity, perhaps I have been a celebrity all my life and never knew the truth about myself, this is one of the joys of traveling, as David Mitchel would put it “travel far enough, you might meet yourself”.
To conclude, I must say Mexico is a beautiful place full of a unique culture. Until next time adios
