Are you passionate about storytelling, intercultural learning, and volunteering? EIL / AFS Ireland is seeking an enthusiastic **Communications and Volunteer Manager** to shape our narrative, engage communities, and expand our volunteer network across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
– Develop and implement communication strategies that effectively share our mission and impact.
– Create compelling content for social media, newsletters, press releases, and other outreach materials.
– Strengthen engagement across digital and traditional media platforms to raise awareness and grow participation.
– Represent EIL / AFS Ireland at events, enhancing visibility and strengthening partnerships.
– Build and support a vibrant volunteer network, fostering community engagement and collaboration.
– Lead outreach initiatives to attract and empower volunteers in delivering meaningful programmes.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who is:
– Passionate about global citizenship, intercultural exchange, and volunteering.
– A skilled communicator, able to craft engaging narratives that inspire action.
– Experienced in media outreach, content creation, or community engagement.
– Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
– Enthusiastic about mobilising volunteers and fostering a strong support network.
