The EIL Explore International STEM Scholarship Award takes science, technology, engineering and mathematics beyond the classroom. Through the AFS global network, young people can combine practical STEM learning with cultural exchange and an introduction to global challenges.
Explore STEM through practical learning
Depending on the programme, activities may include robotics, renewable energy, sustainable technology, engineering, digital innovation or design. You will explore how STEM can help address real-world problems while learning with young people from different backgrounds.
Connect innovation and global citizenship
The programmes combine problem-solving with intercultural learning. Sustainability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals help participants consider how technology affects people, communities and the environment.
